can I have your input on the mixing/mastering?  🤠 🤠

DUDE, this is fantastic! Congratulations my man!

As far as the mix, its sounding pretty balanced to me. I didn't hear anything that stood out, overall its very well balanced! You might be able to adjust a few things to increase separation in the mix more but honestly, it sounds good and you did a great job!

For promoting, the main thing youre looking for are places where the music you make has listeners that follow that style of music. Best places I've found are facebook groups and forums.

For Facebook groups, look for any group that generally has links to music posted by users in that group that also fit the type of music you're making. That will usually help you get more traction. Try not too over post or spam, because that runs the risk of getting either kicked out of the group or ignored. Also, try to engage as much as possible with anyone who replies to your post just out of courtesy because it really makes a huge difference as you start building rapport.

For forums,  obviously the "Our Music" sub forum in AudioSex is a great because you'll get eyes on your music and people genuinely provide good feedback if you ask for it. Don't just post though and say "here's my track", ASK for feedback. Usually something like "Hi all, Ive just posted my new track on Bandcamp and would love some feedback". A lot of users on AS already have Bandcamp accounts so its also a great way to gain new followers.

Really it just boils down to being proactive and advocating for your music, but no so much that people get tired of it. If you do that, youll be able to build a following slowly but it will be organic which is WAY better because the people who do follow you this way are real supporters who are following you because they enjoy what you do. 100 loyal followers is better than 1000 that arent really invested in what you release.

Theres a lot more to this but we can talk more about it in our session. Congrats again my man!

Oh I almost forgot! ANYTIME you finish a track you're proud of, PLEASE post a link here:

        https://aymat.org/community/releases/

I would love for this section to just be filled with releases from all the session producers, regardless of it being released on LF or not. It's the forum I set up specifically for this so please feel to post ANY music you'd like to promote here as well, no need to ask! 👍❤️

Thank you! I appreciate that a lot.

I will keep mix clarity/seperation in mind. Been trying to actively learn a lot more as practical experience will only get me so far if I have no knowledge. I'll watch/read some stuff on mix separation.

Going to try facebook/audiosex soon, and I'll post it in community releases now!

I posted it around a bit in discord promotion channels and sent it to old friends I know who like this kind of stuff. Hopefully I can start collaborating with other similar style artists once I have a 'catalogue' of like 4-5+ songs I can use to really impress :)))

Thanks so much again for the feedback and advice, it means a lot to me.
