YT feed has been on fire this morning. Got served this video and it's evident, to me at least, that it's traditional 3D with post processing.  It's really quite beautiful and well done. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dZF6ozql5gg I dug through his YT channel and found out he also did the design for The Batmobile in the last Batman movie so obviously the dude knows what he's doing lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwmY2b88x_w His YT feed and website are worth checking out as well:  https://www.youtube.com/@alt-c/videos https://ashthorp.art/
Being a Linux head (open source and all that), for me, it's a winner alone, but also totally with you on the step sequencer. About the "flying faders" aspect of the sound i use a 6x stack of Max for Live lfo tool, and i map each to every 303 knob parameter. pretty convincing for me.
Ah never even thought of that!   Id normally send it using an automation track but an lfo tool would be so much more flexible. Bitwig has modulation options built into everything but I prefer a dedicated plugin like Midishaper for that. Might have to try that out

Ran into this today and I thought it was pretty interesting: https://ohmforce.com/products/ohmboyz-infinity https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qVR9siLXZws Could be useful for sound design our leftfield delay stuff I havent used Ogmboyz stuff in years but I always thought they did such a great job coming up with useful plugins. They had a free resonant filter plugin that I used for years which sounded fantastic, I think recently updated it: https://ohmforce.com/products/frohmager
